Friday 12th April – Rhythm Plus

Rhythm plus with the line up of Paul Hendon, Hannah Groves,
Miguel Close and Andrew Shaw.
We are very pleased and privileged to have bassist Andrew Shaw join us for this Jazz Club gig. Andrew is very much in demand in Brisbane, and is known to Toowoomba audiences through the popular Caxton St. Jazz Band.

From Paul – Hannah and I attended the 77th Australian Jazz Convention in Longford, TAS in December. It is the longest-running jazz convention in the world.
It was great to see Hannah gaining experience and confidence playing with other musos from all over the country. She was very well received.
It was particularly nice the way a number of other well-established Melbourne vocalists encouraged her, including Debra La Velle, who wrote “Hannah has a lovely layback, sweet, in tune voice”
Here are a couple of videos from our time at the Convention.’Wonderful’t She Sweet

We’re looking forward to a night of fine, swinging jazz.
In addition, we welcome a guest appearance of the barber shop quartet “Fifth Gear” (from “High Altitude Harmony” choir).
A night not to be missed!
