THE JAZZ SQUAD
The Jazz Squad is based in Toowoomba and led by managing and artistic director Garry Poole.
The band comprises 10 permanent members, including:
Amelia Lobsey (Flute), Elaina Matthews (Alto Sax), Zoe Schultz (Alto Sax), Hannah Paton (Tenor Sax), Patrick Lobsey (Tenor Sax), Matthew Wright (Trumpet), Tiffany Tay (Piano), Reuben Birkett (Bass Guitar), Cooper Thompson (Drums and Percussion), and Garry Poole (Drums and Vocals).
On this special occasion, the Jazz Squad is joined by special guests Mal Gaydon (Trombone), Mark Chalmers (Guitar) and Jeff Poole (Trumpet).
The ensemble performs a vast repertoire spanning historic jazz standards from the likes of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller and many others, to Elvis Presley and a lively mix of Jazz, Latin and rock numbers.
The Jazz Squad have previously performed at the Toowoomba Jazz Society, the Irish Club Hotel, USQ and Palm Lakes Resort.

ENTRY: TJS Member $15, Non-members $20. Annual membership of Toowoomba Jazz Society is available on the night.
PARKING: Access the car park off Gipps Street or there are parks in front of the bowling green in Ball Street and access via the gate.
ENTRANCE: Up the steps from the car park on the southern side of the building or from the bowling green side. Disabled access ramp on the Western side (Gipps Street) and through the bar.
